MAP Testing

The 2015 spring Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) individual score reports are available and will be sent home with your student the week of August 24, 2015. Students in grades 3, 4, 6, and 7 take assessments in English language arts and Mathematics while students in grades 5 and 8 take assessments in English Language Arts, Mathematics, and Science. In addition, high school students and eligible 8th grade students take End of Course assessments in the area of Algebra 1. High school students also take End of Course assessments in the areas of Algebra II, Biology, Government, English Language Arts I and II, and Geometry. These assessments are designed to inform teachers and parents of student academic achievement as well as college and career readiness. Finally, results from MAP scores contribute to the annual Hancock Place School District accreditation status, and the district’s overall Annual Performance Report (APR). Final APR scores are scheduled to be released to the public in mid-October, 2015.
